This is the first year the festival is held with the scale of the district level, on the basis of upgrading the Farming Festival of the Muong ethnic group in Dung Phong commune.
Hanoi will organise a dragon boat racing festival for the first time on February 24, the capital city’s authorities have announced.
(HBO) – Setting foot in Ngoc Luong commune (Yen Thuy district) on a day its cheo (traditional Vietnamese opera) club had routine activities, visitors could hear the tuneful sounds of traditional musical instruments such as drums, two-chord guitars, "phach” (a type of wooden musical instruments) and mellifluous cheo melodies, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the beginning of the spring.
The Yen Tu Spring Festival will open on February 25 (the 10th day of the Lunar New Year), in Uong Bi city, the northern province of Quang Ninh, kicking off the National Tourism Year hosted by the locality.

Hoa Binh spring flower fair in Lunar New Year has more than 100 booths,in which there are 70 stores of products for Tet; 5,000 m2 of displaying flowers, ornamental plants from organizations, enterprises and business households inside and outside the province.
A ceremony to plant Neu pole (a tall bamboo tree with red garment strips used to ward off evil spirits during Tet) was organised at Hue Imperial Citadel in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on February 8.
