(HBO) – The Party organisation of Vu Binh commune (Lac Son district) consists of 28 Party cells with 467 Party members. In the recent past, aside from enhancing COVID-19 prevention and control, it has taken steps to carry out Party congresses’ resolutions, helping boost its socio-economic development and improve people’s living standards.
Standing members of the Vu Binh communal Party Committee have frequently
exchanged opinions to grasp the local situation and work out measures for
implementing the Party’s resolutions.
Despite certain difficulties and challenges,
thanks to the leadership of the communal Party Committee and People’s Committee
along with people’s determination and efforts, Vu Binh commune obtained many
significant achievements last year.
The material and spiritual life of local
residents have been increasingly improved while political security and social
order remain stable. Per capital income reached 38.5 million VND (nearly 1,700
USD), the household poverty rate was brought down to 9 percent, and collection
for the communal budget hit 166 percent of last year’s plan. Vu Binh commune
has met 17 of the 19 new-style rural area building criteria and is set to
complete the task in 2022.
The commune’s Party organisation set up detailed
targets on all socio-economic and Party building aspects for the 2020 - 2025
tenure. To carry out the Party congresses’ resolutions, authorities have
stepped up communications to encourage all residents to join hands in realising
targets, grasped the local situation to report obstacles and people’s opinions
to the communal Party Committee and administration in a timely manner, and
discovered and multiplied exemplary models.
Not only performing their key role in
implementing socio-political tasks, many Party members’ families have also
taken the lead in developing livelihoods, thus generating stable income.
Bui Van Bien, Secretary of the Vu Binh Commune
Party Committee, said aside from the resolution of the communal Party Congress,
the Party Committee of Vu Binh commune also issued some key resolutions in
2021, including those on socio-economic development and the State budget; the
management of land, natural resources, the environment, and construction; and
the enhancement of the Party’s leadership in ensuring security, order, and
defence. All the resolutions have been disseminated to all cadres, Party
members, and residents in local villages.
The achievements obtained in the recent past
provide an important prerequisite for the Party organisation of Vu Binh commune
to continue efforts to fulfill socio-economic development tasks in the time
ahead.
For 2022, the commune looks to collect over 7.1
billion VND for the state budget, raise the average per capita income to 43.5
million VND, reduce the household poverty rate by 1 percent, and complete the
new-style rural area building.
