The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

At
the meeting, the Office of the provincial Party Committee presented a summary
report of opinions gathered from the People’s Councils and the Vietnam
Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, socio-political organisations, and
local residents. The feedback focused on two key documents: the draft political
report of the 17th-tenure provincial Party Committee, and the draft report on
the socio-economic situation during 2021–2025 and the socio-economic
development plan for 2026–2030.
Accordingly,
approximately 34,000 comments were submitted by the public. Most feedback
expressed high consensus on the thorough and well-structured draft political
report, which provides an objective and comprehensive assessment of the
province’s political, economic, cultural, social, security, defence, and
foreign affairs aspects, as well as Party and political system building
efforts.
The
draft report accurately evaluates the province’s accomplishments along with
weaknesses and shortcomings, identifying their causes and drawing valuable
lessons for the future. It also clearly sketches out the goals, orientations,
tasks, and implementation measures for the 2025–2030 term.
On
the proposed objectives and key tasks for the 2025–2030 period, the majority of
opinions agreed that the five breakthroughs and four key task groups accurately
reflect the province’s development priorities. Several suggestions called for
greater investment in cultural infrastructure such as recreational and
community facilities, to meet the growing cultural needs of locals.
Regarding
Party building efforts, most opinions supported the draft’s proposed goals and
measures. Some suggested additional initiatives to enhance political and
ideological education for Party members and strengthen efforts to counter
hostile rhetoric and safeguard the Party’s ideological foundation in the new
context.
Concluding
the meeting, Nguyen Phi Long stressed the importance of public input in
refining the draft documents and agreed with the subcommittee about some
socio-economic development achievements of the 2020–2025 term and the targets
for 2025–2030.
He
stressed the need to maintain the five breakthroughs proposed for 2025–2030
while deepening the content on institutional and administrative reforms with
specific targets.
The
official also highlighted the importance of digital transformation, urging the
inclusion of the province’s action plan to implement the Politburo’s Resolution
No. 57-NQ/TW. Additionally, he called for review and prioritisation of key
projects for the upcoming term, as well as further development of education and
health care strategies, including building specialised hospitals and improving
the quality of local health stations and public high schools.
In the spirit of "Party members go first, the people follow”, all households of Party members in the Doan Ket sub-region in Da Bac town, Da Bac district, voluntarily removed gates and fences, and donated land when the road expansion project passed through their properties. Inspired by their example, 68 households in the sub-region quickly followed suit, contributing over 1,400 sq.m of residential and perennial cropland to widen the main road through the residential area. The exemplary role of Party members in Doan Ket stands as a shining example of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a monthly meeting on May 29 to assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first six months of 2025, the progress of key projects, and some other important issues.
During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always expressed his deep affection and special concern for children and youth. He once emphasized: "Caring for and educating children well is the responsibility of the entire Party and the entire people”; "First of all, the family (i.e. grandparents, parents, siblings) must do this job well”. "the Party Committees…, the Children’s Committee, the Youth Union, the education sector, and all related organizations must have specific plans to ensure children grow healthier and more progressive”. His teachings has been remaining valuable and serving as the guiding principles in the work of protecting, caring for, and educating children. In line with this ideology, Hoa Binh Province has continuously been prioritizing and investing resources in the well-being of children in recent years.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, the alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to provide opinions on several investment projects within the province. There was the attendance of Ms. Bui Thi Minh, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Bui Đuc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and other members of the Standing Committee; the leaders from other departments, agencies, and some localities.
The Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hoa Binh province held a meeting on May 28 to honour outstanding village elders, village heads, and reputable individuals from local ethnic minority and religious communities.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam). This meaningful activity took place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
