In recent
years, the holidays have been occasions for people to not only reunite with
their relatives and friends, but also design journeys to relax themselves.
To prepare for their vacations, many people learnt about New Year tours right
from September. According to experienced holiday-makers, when making plans and
registering early, they will have many choices, while avoiding the "fully
booked” state and price increases during these occasions.
Pham Van Bay, Deputy Director of Vietravel Hanoi – a leading tour operator in
Vietnam, said that the number of visitors booking New Year 2019 tours via the
company currently surpasses 90 percent, while the rate for Tet tours reaches
65-70 percent compared with the set targets.
Vietravel Hanoi predicts to enjoy a year-on-year growth rate of at least 30
percent during the holidays, Bay stated, adding that it still applies promotion
programmes for those registering early, especially for groups of tourists.
Besides traditional tours, travel agents in the capital city have designed new
tours, with attractive schedules and stable prices plus promotion programmes.
Tourists are offered with opportunities to choose tours suitable for their
conditions and habits.
To avoid low-quality tours, travel agents advise customers to contact with
prestigious tour operators and book tours as soon as possible to enjoy the best
prices and suitable schedules.
The upcoming four-day New Year holiday will last from December 29, 2018 to
January 1, 2019, while the Tet festival will fall on February 2-10, 2019.
