(HBO) – Hoa Binh province welcomed some 90,000 visitors during the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival, including some 4,500 foreign arrivals.

 

Total revenue from tourism services is reckoned at around 36 billion VND, or a 62- percent jump from the same time in 2018.

This year, tourists flocked to many spiritual cultural destinations like Bo Temple, Tien Pagoda, Bong Lai Temple, and Khanh Pagoda. Meanwhile, Heritist Park and community-based tourism in Mai Chau, Da Bac and Lac Son districts were also the star attractions.

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed competent authorities to join hands with localities to make meticulous preparation for local festivals, ensure food safety and hygiene as well as provide good quality tourism services./.
