HBO - In recent years, the province's tourism has been promoting its own advantages and diversifying its products to attract tourists. Since then, the tourism industry has been affirming its development position, striving to become a key economic sector of the province.

 An important highlight of Hoa Binh tourism was in January 2019. At the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF), Da Bia community tourism area in Tien Phong commune (Da Bac) has received the ASEAN community tourism award. Mu Waterfall in Tu Do commune (Lac Son) has won the ASEAN homestay award. The two important awards have affirmed the development position of our province's tourism.

 In recent years, determining the important position of the tourism industry for socio-economic development, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the province have been interested in attracting investors to develop tourism, renovate and upgrade the infrastructure and develop different tourism types, contributing to building Hoa Binh into an attractive destination. The tourism destinations have been planned, embellished and upgraded to meet the increasing needs of visitors. 

Hoa Binh is created with a charming landscape with an immense Hoa Binh Lake and a poetic landscape with many tourism spots on the lake such as Bo Temple, Hien Luong water wharf, Tien Phong, Suoi Nanh, Thung Nai. Mai Chau poetic valley is one of 10 points voted as an interesting experience for tourists. Doi Thung and Mu waterfall are the masterpieces granted by nature. Besides, there are other spiritual tourist destinations chosen by tourists in the province. Currently, the province is interested in developing luxury resorts such as Serena (Kim Boi), Mai Chau Ecologe (Mai Chau), Phuong Hoang golf course (Luong Son), Vietnamese scientists' heritage park. (Cao Phong).

 The system of the tourism accommodation in the province has rapidly increased and the quality of the business has improved, meeting the increasing demands of domestic and foreign tourists. Up till now, there have been 412 expertized tourism accommodation establishments in the province, of which there are six three-star hotels, twenty three two-star hotels, eight one-star hotels, 233 rest houses and 142 community tourism houses in stilts. The staff at each tourist destination is professionally trained.

 In 2018, the province welcomed 2,695,185 turns of visitors. The income from tourism reached over 1,520 billion. In 2019, Hoa Binh province is trying to welcome over 3 million turns of visitors, of which there will be 403 thousand turns of international visitors with the minimum income of 2,000 billion VND from tourism.
