The natural tourism resource in this district is plentiful with many destinations such as Phu Canh Nature Reserve; Ta Khop waterfall - Dong Ruong commune; Bieu mountain, Lo Lan cave and Hien Luong bay - Hien Luong commune; Dua island - Vay Nua commune; Sung island - Tien Phong commune and so on.

Besides, the human tourism resources with tangible and intangible culture are unique and worthy such as Thac Bo - Vay Nua commune; Le Loi memorial board - Vay Nua commune and so on. Additionally, Dao, Tay and Muong ethnic people have also preserved their specific culture in the lifestyle, which is a favorable condition to develop the communal tourism.

The tourism and services have been determined as an important economic sector in investing, developing and expanding the tourism destinations to discover the beauty spots, the relics and communal tourism destinations including Ke hamlet - Hien Luong commune, Da Bia hamlet - Tien Phong commune, Sung hamlet - Cao Son commune, Nhap hamlet - Dong Chum commune, Tham Luong hamlet - Doan Ket commune and so on. In 2018, the communal tourism of Da Bia hamlet - Tien Phong commune was honorably received the ASEAN Community Tourism Award. In that year, the tourism sector of Da Bac district also welcomed 79,500 turns of visitors reaching the revenue of 14.2 billion VND.

In 2019, Da Bac district is going to implement the District Tourism Development Project to 2020 and the Vision to 2030 and the strategic plan for tourism development. The District Tourism Steering Committee has advised People's Committee of the district to continuously promote the tourism activity in the whole district, giving priority to the capital investment for tourism development and inclining towards the professional tourism activities to promote the strengths and the internal resources of the district in the new period. At the same time, they have researched and proposed the potential authorities to issue the preferential policy to encourage the investment in developing the typical tourism products of the district.

They have also organized and promoted tourism at the local traditional festivals, introducing the tourism prosperity for businesses to survey and invest in the tourism products of the district. They have well implemented the tourism development in association with preserving the natural landscape, architecture and cultural character of ethnic groups in the community. They have also applied the criterial system of green tourism, eco-tourism with responsibility for the local tourism activity.
