(HBO) - Being considered as one of the most beautiful caves in the province, Hoa Tien cave relics is located in the heart of the limestone mountains, Ba mountain in Ngoi village, Ngoi Hoa commune (Tan Lac). This place was ranked as the national relics by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2003. At present, Hoa Tien cave is an attractive spot for tourists to visit and explore on the tourism route of Da river’s lake.
Hoa Tien cave consists of 2 gates, separated each other by 18 meters: the southeast and the south ones. As soon setting foot in the cave, visitors are surprised by the wonderful beauty of the countless stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars with a lot of interesting shapes. Through the light of the lamp, the stalactites, the stalagmites and the stone pillars reflect the sparkling light like the stage ones, making the cave like a natural art museum.
The main cave area is 61 meters long and 27 meters wide, about 50 meters from the entrance to the left turn. The cave is divided into 2 small niches. When visiting the cave, visitors come across the numerous cloudy stalactites like the Buddha, the Fairy, located on the five-colorful pink clouds.
The stalactites, the stone pillars, the big, small and colorful stalagmites have been growing from the ground and hanging down from above to form a unique work of art in Hoa Tien, Ngoi hamlet, Ngoi Hoa communes (Tan Lac).
The northern cave’s niche has a length of 60 meters and a width of 12 meters, which is separated from the main cave by a series of tall stone pillars and stalagmites lined up in large rows. Through this natural wall, visitors can come into the cave. Right at the top of this niche, visitors come across a shallow lake, which is the first point for a long series of small lakes next to each other to create the terraced fields. The clear and cool water shimmers miraculously under the light of the cave. The more you come into the cave, the smaller it is with the quiet space. Here, the countless stalactites, the stone pillars and the stalagmites of mysterious shapes with a purple, golden throne is a masterpiece of the nature. The southwestern niche is a little bit down with a view to the mountain outside, gliding over the shape of the arc along the limestone mountains. The floor of the cave is made up of many large stones lined up, which are rugged and wet.
Under the lights, the countless stalactites and the stone pillars appear in many shapes like the hands of talented artists. The streams of soft rocky waterfall hang down from the height like the silk strips. These images have merged together to form the architectural blocks, creating large pillars from below soaring as if they are used to hold up the massive ceiling. There are high and low blocks, even there are blocks that 10 people cannot hold over it. There are blocks which are just like the pillars of the stilt houses, there are blocks with the height of 20 meters, and there are ones with only 3 - 4 meters high. A complete picture in which there is a full convergence of visual and painting art architecture is created in the cave.
Ms. Bui Minh Hong, the Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Tan Lac district says Hoa Tien Cave has so far preserved its status, the stalactite system and landscape in the cave has been preserved intact. However, the way to the cave is a residential road, which is very difficult to reach. In 2018, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism invested nearly 2 billion VND in building roads. Currently, the half of the road has been constructed, the remaining is expected to be deploy immediately after the end of the rainy season. When the construction route is completed, it will be convenient for traveling and it will attract tourists to visit and explore Hoa Tien cave, promoting the potential and advantages and gradually bringing tourism to become an important economic sector of the district.
