The Hanoi Department of Tourism has asked travel companies to follow health information strictly, supervise tourists who present high risk of Covid-19 infection to Vietnam, and not to bring tourists from disease infected areas to Hanoi.

Many companies provide free masks and carry out tourist coach disinfection. Some others increase marketing efforts for tourists from the Middle East, India, Europe, the US and Northeast Asia; and expand markets in countries for rapid recovery, such as Eastern Europe, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Many sites re-open to welcome tourists with diverse measures to prevent the disease.

Masks are disseminated free-of-charge in key tourist sites in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Da Nang and other localities.
