(HBO) - Cao Phong district welcomed 188,475 visitors in the first nine months of 2020, a year-on-year slump of 53 percent, raking in 13.15 billion VND (564,270 USD). Of the total, 92 were foreigners.
The district has enhanced communications to
promote images and cultural identity in mass media, launched tourism programmes
and projects in the locality to attract tourists.
Infrastructure and facilities at
accommodation establishments have been upgraded and dining services met
tourists’ demand. Due attention has been paid to training for tourism human
resources.
Since the start of the year, the district
arranged refresher courses on culture, sports, tourism and family planning, and
rural tourism in association with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports
and Tourism for the two hamlets of Rom Khanh in Thach Yen commune and Mo in
Binh Thanh commune./.
