(HBO) - Pure and refreshing air, tranquil space and beautiful pristine landscapes can be found at the Trang waterfall in Trang Ta hamlet of Nhan My commune (Tan Lac district), which is hailed as one of the most fascinating waterfalls in Hoa Binh province.

Trang waterfall in Nhan My commune (Tan Lac) during the rainy season.

The five-step waterfall has different characteristics. Its flow looks like a long and beautiful strand of hair.

The plunge pool at the end of the waterfall is similar to a natural swimming pool whose water level measures only over 1m in depth so visitors can swim there, making it among the safest places for swimming.

Three sections of the waterfall bear distinctive traits. The first one from the crest makes people think of a proactive young man while the second section is like a shy girl hiding herself under the bushes, and the third one of the waterfall is a wonderful place.

The view from the top is the most beautiful, but only a few people can reach it. The waterfall is 5m high and flows vertically, creating a base measuring 2m in depth.

The water is clean yet rather freezing. Therefore, even in scorching weather and the temperature may be higher than 40 degrees Celsius, visitors may only swim for dozens of minutes then go sunbathing.

With picturesque landscape, pure air and cool and clean water, coupled with a favourable location, the waterfall was recognised as a tourist destination at provincial level in December 2019.

Local authorities and people hoped that investment will help turn the site into a popular destination and become a draw in tourists’ trips to the ancient land of Muong Bi./.
