Since the traffic route from Thung Nai to Suoi Hoa (Tan Lac), from Thung Nai to Bac Phong, from Binh Thanh to Thung Nai, the project renovating and upgrading the provincial road 435 was completed and put into use, it has been convenient for tourists from all over the country travelling to Hoa Binh lake. Mr. Pham Ngoc Nhat, Head of the District’s Information and Culture Division, said: Besides the famous community tourism site in Mo village, which há been attracting many tourists, Tien hamlet, Thung Nai commune is also a unique tourism destination for tourists who want to learn about the cultural life of the ancient Muong people. Since 2018, Tien village has welcomed hundreds of domestic and international delegations. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has supported a number of homestay households in the village with the facilities and equipment, such as blankets, sheets, pillows, cushions, refrigerators, billboards, costumes, loudspeakers, trumpets, drums and gongs to serve the community tourism activities.

The task of attracting investment in developing tourism has been paid attention to, creating all conditions for organizations and businesses. There are a number of organizations and businesses that are surveying and investing in the district's tourism sector, especially the ones within Hoa Binh lake area: Parahills resort project with a scale of 7.5 ha and the total investment capital of 150 billion VND in Trang hamlet, Binh Thanh commune; Binh Thanh resort project in Trang hamlet, Binh Thanh commune has a planning area of 30 hectares, of which the water surface area is 7 hectares, and the total investment capital is 60 billion VND... Especially, the protection of tourism resource and environment has been well done in recent years. The organizations and individuals providing tourism services must comply with the regulations on the environmental protection, the investment in the landscape and the ecological environment. The people in the lake area are propagated about the policies and the laws on the environmental protection, not blasting fishing, not littering into the lake. In addition, ensuring the safety of tourists is focused, there are no incidents that cause unsafety for tourists. The ships and boats are fully equipped with safety equipment.

After 2 years of being affected by Covid-19 pandemics, leading to a decrease in the total number of visitors, the tourism destinations within the lake area are reopening to welcome visitors at the beginning of the year and the festival season in 2022.
