(HBO) - According to the statistics, in the first 6 months of the year, there have been 291,090 turns of visitors and tourists coming to Mai Chau district, increasing 23,087 turns of visitors compared to that of the same period in 2021. Of which, there have been 286,869 turns of domestic tourists and 4,221 turns of international visitors. The total revenue in the tourism sector has been estimated at over 332 billion VND, increasing 110 billion VND compared to that of the same period in 2021.
In order to promote the image,
the potential, and attract tourists, the district has been focusing on
directing and strengthening propaganda, introducing the images and the national
cultural identity on the mass media since the beginning of the year. They have
well managed the detailed planning of tourism subdivisions in the district.
Along with that, they have directed, inspected and closely monitored and
requested the pick-up points to strictly comply with the conditions on
prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemics. Up to now, the entertainment
activities and tourism services in the district have been in the normal state.
