According to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, tourism business activities in the province have shown strong signs of recovery, and the province has achieved good growth in the first six months of this year. The total number of tourists visiting Hoa Binh is estimated at 2.6 million, increasing nearly 10% compared to that of the same period, achieving 61.9% of the annual plan.
The Serena Kim Boi Resort (Kim Bôi) has been attracting visitors
with its ecotourism combined with the healthcare services.
The tourism
areas and destinations in the districts and the city have served 260,000 turns of
international visitors, achieving 53% of the annual plan, and 2,340,000 turns
of domestic visitors, achieving 64.8% of the annual plan. It is estimated that
the total revenue from tourism reached 2,689 billion VND, increasing 29.8%
compared to that of the same period, achieving 58.5% of the annual plan.
Along with
the effectiveness of promotion and advertising activities, improving the
infrastructure quality, and diversifying the services and tourism products such
as ecotourism combined with health care, sports tourism, spiritual tourism, and
cultural tourism…, the various attractions have drawn many tourists for
sightseeing, experiences, and exploration. Notably, Hoa Binh City has welcomed
280,000 turns of tourists, Mai Châu District has welcomed 210,000 turns of
tourists, and Kim Bôi district has welcomed 180,000 turns of tourists.
