Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee,
hands over the appointment decision to the new Director of the provincial
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bui Thi Niem.
At the ceremony, Nguyen Viet Trong, Director
of the provincial Department of Home Affairs, announced Decision No.
1828/QD-UBND issued on August 2, 2018 by the provincial People’s Committee on
the appointment of Bui Thi Niem, member of the provincial Party Committee and
Vice Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as
the Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in a
five-year tenure from the signing date of the decision.
Handing over the decision and flowers to
Bui Thi Niem, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van
Chuong hailed the contributions that Niem has made to the province’s culture,
sports and tourism sector over the past years during the time she served as Vice
Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Chuong expressed his hope that Niem, in
her new position, will continue doing her best and coordinate with other
officials in the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to
successfully complete all assigned tasks and record abundant achievements in
2018 as well as following years.
In the areas of culture, sports, tourism
and family affairs, it is necessary to optimise the locality’s advantages,
while focusing on developing the local cultural identity for the effective
promotion of sustainable tourism, making it a spearhead economic sector of the
province, he requested.
Chuong also called for developing community
sport movements, thus building foundation for the development of high-performance
sports, contributing to enhancing the position of Hoa Binh in the region and
the whole country in the field of sport.
He urged the managing board of the
provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of its
divisions to coordinate closely and create favourable conditions for Niem to perform
well in her new position assigned by the leaders of the provincial People’s Committee.
