HBO - The application of information technology (IT) has brought about practical effects in administrative management and reform to serve local businesses and residents. To date, software to handle documents and tasks has been linked at central, provincial, district and commune levels.

At district and communal centres for public administration, single window software has been in use at sections receiving and handling administrative documents to provide public services to people and firms. Public services at levels 3 and 4 will be launched later this year.

Hoa Binh province has basically fulfilled targets set for the implementation of plans on IT application in 2018 and in the 2016-2020 period. At the same time, IT infrastructure is being invested and application has been stepped up.

A portal on the province’s public services provides about 2,020 services of levels 1 and 2 for local people, organisations and entrepreneurs. Online public services of levels 3 and 4 are being implemented.

Portals of departments and People’s Committee of districts and cities have been upgraded. The provincial People’s Committee ordered the improvement of IT application in activities of State agencies in 2019, targeting the growth of technical infrastructure, information system, and shared and specialised databases, thus creating a foundation for the province’s e-government and ensuring information safety and security.
