(HBO) – The Department of Home Affairs of Hoa Binh province on December 16 held a conference to review its performance in 2022 and launch tasks for next year. Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the conference.

 

Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awards the title of"Emulator of Hoa Binh Province” to four individuals from the Department of Home Affairs for their outstanding performance.

In 2022, the Department of Home Affairs actively advised the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to take solutions to improve the effectiveness of state management. 

The department accelerated administrative reform; reduced the number of civil servants; rearranged the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; strengthened discipline; improved the quality of public services, and implemented a cultural lifestyle in the workplace.

The department effectively deployed the training and retraining for management officials from the district level to the provincial level as well as renovated and improved the quality of recruitment of civil servants and public employees.

It also contributed to strengthening state management in its management fields including administration building, management of administrative boundaries, religion, and emulation.

It is expected that by December 31, 2022, the province’s home affairs sector will complete all 27 tasks assigned by the provincial Party Committee and provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, nine groups of tasks for the home affairs sector in 2023 were launched. The department also launched an emulation movement for 2023.

Speaking at the conference, Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the performance of the home affairs sector in 2022.

 

After analyzing limitations, he emphasised the key tasks for the sector to focus on in 2023, including improving the counselling work to perfect the institutions, organisational structure, and payroll of the province; the arrangement of redundant cadres and civil servants after the merger of administrative units; strengthening inspection, assessment, and solutions to improve the efficiency of official duties of officials, civil servants, and public employees.

In particular, he asked the home affairs sector to continue to uphold responsibility, and implement more drastic solutions to improve the efficiency of administrative reform, together with the provincial political system to complete tasks set for 2023.

 

 

On this occasion, one individual from the department received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister, four individuals were awarded the title of "Emulator of Hoa Binh Province”; two groups were awarded the title of "Excellent Labour Collective”; one group and eight individuals were awarded certificates of merit from the provincial People's Committee./.

This year, Hoa Binh province strives to have eight communes recognised as meeting new-style rural area standards and five communes satisfying exemplary new-style rural area standards. Since the beginning of the year, the provincial People's Committee has drastically directed the implementation of the national target programme on new-style rural area building to fulfil the set target.
