HBO – The 5th meeting of the provincial People’s Council, the 16th tenure, continued its agenda with the Q&A session and adopted resolutions before concluding.

 

Tran Dang Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, concluded the meeting.

During the Q&A session, deputies to the provincial People’s Council mentioned issues of public concern as well as shortcomings in localities and units.

Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee,  and the Directors of the provincial Departments of Health; Natural Resources and Environment; Home Affair; Finance; Construction; and Transport; provincial Chief Inspector; and Director of the provincial Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement answered the deputies’ questions with high sense of responsibility.

Nguyen Van Quang, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, took the floor, promising that the committee will review all comments and discussions in groups and at the plenary meeting to instruct departments and sectors to deal with the mentioned issues the coming time. He also frankly admitted the shortcomings in 2017, thus putting forth groups of measures to boost socio-economic development in 2018.

 

A deputy of Hoa Binh city raised questions at the meeting

After three days of working, the 5th meeting of the provincial People’s Council, the 16th tenure, completed its set agenda with a range of important contents. The meeting considered, discussed and ratified 26 important resolutions for 2018 and afterwards.

In his closing speech, Tran Dang Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, clearly stated that the meeting was a success. He requested the provincial People’s Committee to acquire opinions of councilors; promptly instruct administrations at all levels and sectors to work out plans of action; remove difficulties hindering business and production activities; reform the province’s growth model; restructure the economy; fulfill all socio-economic development tasks in 2018; and effectively implement the meeting’s resolutions.

Ninh urged the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, administrations at all levels, sectors and organizations and local people to join hands in implementing the province’s new guidelines and policies while promoting the solidarity, creativity, and efforts to accomplish all assigned tasks.

He called on all people in the province to uphold the revolutionary tradition and solidarity, seize opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, and mobilize all possible resources to help Hoa Binh develop rapidly and sustainably, and successfully implement the targets set in the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress and the socio-economic development plan from 2016-2020.
