Speaking at a meeting with businesses, investors, and cooperatives on the occasion of the lunar new year, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh affirmed that with the motto of the administration accompanying businesses, Hoa Binh always determines that the success of businesses is also that of the province; and their difficulties and problems are the responsibility of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels. Over the past years, the Hoa Binh business
community has continuously developed and improved operational efficiency,
especially in terms of capital, revenue, profits, and generation of jobs and
income for workers. It has demonstrated a pioneering role in organising
production resources, creating goods and services for society, and promoting
the province's socio-economic development.
The structure and scale of local businesses
are still modest, with about 98% being micro- and small-sized ones. However,
according to the provincial Taxation Department, in 2023, they contributed over
3.7 trillion VND (145.5 million USD) to the state budget, accounting for 73% of
the province’s total budget revenue. They also attracted 1,830 new workers and
created stable jobs for nearly 84,000 labourers.
Creating breakthroughs in administrative
reform, improving the investment and business environment, and attracting and
improving the efficiency of using resources for development are the key tasks
and solutions implemented concertedly by the province to support businesses.
For key projects, Hoa Binh has established
a steering committee headed by the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee
which meets twice a month to promptly assist businesses and investors in
removing difficulties and obstacles during the project implementation.
Chairman Khanh called on businesses and
entrepreneurs to continue contributing and working with the province to
complete the proposed socio-economic development tasks. He affirmed that in the
coming time, the province will continue to research and perfect policies and
solutions to help the business community to develop.
This is an important spiritual fulcrum to
help the business community have confidence, develop comprehensively, and
achieve high efficiency in production and business activities, thereby creating
momentum for the overall development of the province.
