Lac Son district has focused on building and implementing initiatives and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of administrative reform, helping to promote the locality’s socio-economic development.

The division for receiving and returning the results of administrative procedures of Lac Son district always creates favourable conditions for organisations and individuals.

According to Bui Van Thao, who is in charge of the division for receiving and returning the results of administrative procedures of Lac Son district, the unit’s modern information technology system meets the standards.

The unit is equipped with an interconnected monitoring and evaluation system between district and commune levels through  concentrated software to promptly monitor, and evaluate the quality of activities at divisions for receiving and returning the results of administrative procedures at all levels.

Last year, the unit introduced two technology products to support the provision of public services and address administrative procedures for citizens and businesses.

It has also applied a smart digital broadcasting solution, which was recognised as a provincial-level initiative. The solution is expected to be multiplied in communes and towns in the district in 2024.

Bui Nguyet Minh, Head of the Division of Home Affairs of Lac Son district, said in recent years, the local authorities have always paid attention to building a clean, strong, modern administrative management system, towards creating favourable conditions for promoting growth and socio-economic development.

In addition, the district has also paid attention to learning experiences and finding breakthrough solutions and initiatives to further speed up the administrative reform, he added.

Many administrative reform models have been developed and implemented by the district People's Committee, generating positive results, including a module initiative returning public service results online through the "Hoa Binh Citizen Digital App", which won a second prize in a contest for seeking administrative reform initiatives in 2022.
