(HBO) - Mai Chau District Education & Training Board has held a summary ceremony of the Competitions of excellent secondary homeroom teachers at district level in the school year of 2017 - 2018.

There were 23 teachers from 21/22 secondary schools in the district participating in the competition. During three days, candidates had to pass three exams, including: paperwork exam, knowledge examinations, case handling exam and storytelling. According to the organizers’ evaluations, due to careful preparations, each contestant solved the problem reasonably in accordance with the requirements of the teaching methodology, showing the skills and professional in the work of the homeroom teachers. Especially in the case handling exam and story – telling contest, many candidates have introduced the intelligent, creative and rational situation management solutions, and many stories come from the reality of work but rich in humanities meaning. 

At the end of the Competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the best homeroom teachers of the school year of 2017 - 2018 to 22/23 teachers; at the same time, they awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes. In particular, the first prize belongs to teacher Lai Thi Minh Hue, a teacher at Mai Chau Town Secondary School.

The competition is an opportunity for Mai Chau district's education sector to select, recognize and honor the teachers who have won the title of homeroom teachers of the district level; at the same time, it contributes to evaluating the current status of pedagogical competence and professional methodology of teachers, meeting the requirements of education reform in the current period./.
