(HBO) – Under the Government’s Project No. 06/CP on developing the application of population data, electronic identification and electronic verification, public security forces at all levels in Hoa Binh province have stepped up communications, encouraged and guided local residents to handle administrative procedures on the public service portal.
(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Provincial Council for Emulation and Commendation coordinated with the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh city to hold the first exchange conference for role models on July 7. The event was attended by leaders of the provincial Department of Home Affairs and the Hoa Binh Municipal People’s Committee, along with 41 individuals who are role models from localities across the province.

(HBO) – Hoa Binh province boasts considerably potential for developing fisheries as it is home to over 14,460ha of pond, lake, irrigation work, and hydropower reservoir surface, along with some river and big streams that can be used for cage fish farming or fishing. Notably, the Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir is considered a precious treasure of fishery resources in the northwestern region.

(HBO) - Although Hoa Binh province’s provincial competitiveness index (PCI) in 2021 dropped significantly in rankings and scores, many businesses and investors believed that this challenge was also an opportunity for the provincial authorities and its departments, sectors and localities to review and evaluate weaknesses and shortcomings, and carry out drastic measures to create a breakthrough in improving the investment environment and enhancing the province's competitiveness in the coming years.
(HBO) – Although Hoa Binh province maintained a relatively high level of public investment capital disbursement in 2021 and the first five months of 2022, the locality has defined it as a leading important task in the time to come to ensure its economic development.
(HBO) – In the 2021 District and Department Competitiveness Index rankings, Yen Thuy district took the lead among the district-level localities in Hoa Binh province, with 89 out of the 100 points. This result reflected efforts by local Party committees and administrations to promote the implementation of measures for improving the business climate and building an administration that always accompanies and assists businesses and people.
Total revenue from forests of organisations and households in Hoa Binh was estimated to top 83 billion VND (3.57 million USD) in the first five months of 2022.
(HBO) – Hoa Binh province ranked 62nd in the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) 2021, dropping18 places from the previous year, with its land access index reaching 5.93 points, down 0.35 point. According to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the province ranked 62nd in the land access index, down 16 places as compared with 2020.

(HBO) – Hoa Binh’s industrial production index was estimated to increase 56.27 percent in May against April.
(HBO) - According to data reported by the provincial People's Committee, by the end of May 2022, Hoa Binh’s State budget revenue is estimated at 2.143 trillion VND (92.33 million USD), of which domestic revenue is 1.954 trillion VND, equal to 55 percent of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister and 32 percent of the yearly target set in a Resolution of the provincial People's Council; and revenue from import-export activities 189 billion VND, equivalent to 60 percent of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister and the target of the Resolution of the provincial People's Council.

(HBO) – Since the start of this year, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV)’s Branch in Hoa Binh province has actively implemented guidelines and policies of the Party, State and sectors for banks and credit institutions in the province, with focus placed on providing preferential credit to people and businesses hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic and expanding non-cash payment from 2022 – 2025.

(HBO) – Hoa Binh applied the District and Department Competitiveness Index (DDCI) on a trial basis last year. DDCI is used to measure the satisfaction level of enterprises, cooperatives and household businesses with the way the ten districts and city of the northern province and its 26 departments govern the local economy and improve business climate.
