According to data from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as of 2020, the local total citrus plantation exceeded 11,500ha, of which the commercial area reached 8,000ha producing over 150,000 tonnes of fruit annually. The vegetable area, meanwhile, surpassed 11,000ha a year, yielding between 140,000 and 160,000 tonnes per year.
