(HBO) - The People's Committee of Hoa Binh city has organized the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Sanitary (OSS) in 2018.


The leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs presented the certificates of merit to the four labor collectives.

 

With the theme of "To actively prevent and control dangerous and harmful factors in the workplace in order to limit occupational accidents and diseases", the launching ceremony was held to respond to the action month on occupational safety and sanitary in Hoa Binh city, it is also an opportunity for all-level sectors, organizations, enterprises, workers and communities to raise awareness on occupational safety and sanitary activities, to promote the movement of labor protection and working environment improvement in order to minimize the risk of occupational accidents and diseases. Thereby, the production and business can be boosted, contributing to the stabilization and socio-economic development in the city.

At present, there are over 1,000 enterprises, business establishments in Hoa Binh city. In the past years, thanks to good propaganda, training organizations, practicing occupational safety and hygiene training, care activities, periodical health examination and early detection of occupational diseases for employees, etc., Occupational safety and sanitary activities in the city have made positive changes, etc. In the action month on OSS, Hoa Binh city will direct the promotion of propaganda, implementation and guiding the implementation of regulations on the Law of labor safety and hygiene; strengthening the State management of occupational safety and sanitary, instructing occupational safety and sanitary training and retraining for officials, public employees and laborers. At the same time, Hoa Binh city will promote the emulation movement for the good performance of OSS activities and the Green - Clean - Beautiful emulation movement in the area.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs also awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives in Hoa Binh city for their outstanding achievements in occupational safety and sanitary in 2017.
