(HBO) - In 2019, the whole province developed a plan to plant 5,790 ha of forest. The districts and city in the province have prepared seedlings, creating ground to ensure the progress of afforestation. By the end of May, the whole province planted 3,515 hectares of forests, reaching 60.7% of the plan.
Besides, in May, districts
and city in the province exploited over 553 ha of planted forests; 26 thousand m3of wood; exploiting 234 m3 of scattered trees, 94.7 thousand of bamboo;
10.5 tons of bamboo shoots and 7.1 tons of medicinal herbs.
Ngoc Luong commune in Yen Thuy district is striving to reach the finish line in advanced new-style rural area building in 2024. By promoting the implementation of solutions, the commune has to date completed necessary criteria set for advanced new-style rural communes for the 2021 – 2025 period.
