The district will expand the farming area of orange and pomelo under VietGap and organic standards, with a target of more than 200 hectares in 2020 and over 500 hectares in 2025.

Meanwhile, the locality will continue promoting the products in local tourism destinations and through trade promotion activities such as trade fairs, conference, festival, and via the Internet and the media.

On the occasion, contracts were signed among representatives of production cooperatives, the owners of the trademark and three companies on the sales of the products.

At the ceremony, the People’s Committee of Kim Boi also presented certificates of merit to 13 collectives and 25 individuals who made outstanding achievements in developing citrus trees in the locality.
