(HBO) - Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh chaired a working session with permament members of the Lac Thuy district Party Committee to discuss the organisation of the 25th district Party Congress for the 2020 – 2025 tenure.

Lac Thuy district is chosen to be a venue for the local Party Congress which is scheduled for early June. The local Party Committee has directed seriously following the Politburo’s Decree No.35-CT/TW and the province’s directions on the provincial Party Congress towards the 13th National Party Congress. As of May 12, all 37 Party cells and units completed their congress. 

Agenda for the congress has been prepared thoroughly in line with the Politburo’s Decree No.35-CT/TW and local realities, reflecting democracy in the Party and people.

Concluding the event, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee requested promptly and seriously preparing for the local Party Congress to meet requirements of Decree No.35-CT/TW. Lac Thuy district Party organisation has achieved important results, including dynamic and creative personnel, new-style rural development, farming economic development, and infrastructure upgrade.

He asked the standing board of the district Party Committee to continue enhancing the sense of responsibility, completing draft reports and devising specific action plans to create new impetus to the new tenure. The district was asked to outline detailed plans to successfully hold the congress, meet demand for renewing leadership, upholding democracy, reinforcing solidarity, maintaining discipline and quality, tapping brainpower and responsibility of Party units and members and local residents.

It was also tasked with raising public awareness of the congress, stepping up national patriotism movements and succesfully fulfilling resolutions by the party congresses at all levels. It must conduct personnel work by choosing qualified and moral members to the new tenure of the Party unit, towards making breakthrough in leadership and directing key tasks in the new period./.
