Under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the instability of the agricultural product market, farmers are facing many difficulties in finding buyers for their agricultural products, causing great damage to the economy and people's lives. Therefore, the above-mentioned organizations agreed to sign a cooperation programme to timely support their members in selling the products as well as get used to promotion and sales methods which are relevant to the current situation and the market instability.

The programme will focus on developing and implementing communications activities about the province’s agricultural products, and building support plans for the sales of agricultural products for each specific period.

A network of agricultural products trading will be developed to expand the distribution market. Union members will be encouraged to prioritise using agricultural products produced and processed in the province. An e-commerce platform will also be formed to facilitate the connection of supply and demand for agricultural products in Hoa Binh province.

Under the signed programme, the provincial Farmers’Association is assigned to be the coordinator. It will work with the other organisations in developing the annual plan to assist the sales of agricultural produce.

The organisations will alternately host meetings to evaluate the results and adjust the programme’s content to make it relevant to the actual situation./.
