In May 2025, the total import and export turnover of Hoa Binh Province is estimated to exceed USD 334 million. In which exporting reached nearly USD 196 million, accounting for approximately 40% of the annual target, marking a 17% increase compared to the same period last year. Imports are estimated at nearly 139 million USD, reflecting a 15% growth.
Key export sectors include plastic
products, electronic components, garments, and mechanical products. Meanwhile,
major imports consist of garment materials, electronic components, machinery
and equipment, and various chemicals used in production.
The Provincial Party Committee and
the People's Committee of Hoa Binh have been actively directing relevant sectors
and localities to closely monitor global market developments. Efforts have been
intensified to promote trade, enhance business connectivity, and support the
expansion of export markets, maximizing the benefits of free trade agreements.
At the same time, authorities are strengthening inspection and control of
goods' origins to ensure that import-export activities develop sustainably and
in the right direction.
Hoa Binh province is steadily advancing its agricultural sector through the adoption of high-tech solutions, seen as a sustainable path for long-term development.
The People's Committee of Hoa Binh Province has issued Plan No. 93 on supporting small and medium -sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province in 2025. Accordingly, it has decided to allocate VND 3.5 billion from the central budget to support these businesses.
