(HBO)- Our province is encouraging organizations and individuals to raise Da river fish along the value chain in order to create sustainable development for the aquaculture industry.

The fish raising enterprises have organized the market consumption of Da river fish products and increasingly build up the reputation for consumers. Hai Dang Aquatic Limited Company has invested in advanced technology in raising Da river fish with the scale of about 160 cages, the yield is about hundreds of tons per year. The company has signed contracts for collaboration of product consumption for prestigious restaurants and hotels in Hanoi. Cuong Thinh Construction and Services Limited Company organizes fish shops to sell and introduce Da river fish, stalls providing clean food and supplying products to the safe meal program in Hanoi.

Along with that, Da river fish products are also regularly supplied to clean food shops in Hoa Binh city to meet the safety needs of the local people. In the province, there are 35 enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, household farms investing in intensive fish raising with a large scale, accounting for 55% of the cages and 67% of the fishery yield supplied to the markets inside and outside the province. Seven enterprises have signed contracts with standardized cage-fish raising households in accordance with VietGap's guidelines to ensure food safety, signing to ensure product consumptions for farmers, ensure stable output.

The Director of the Department of Quality Control of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Nguyen Huu Tai said: The inspection of Da River fish products showed that they meet the requirements of quality according to the regulations. Linking production in the value chain has created safe products that ensure the benefits for consumers, exploit the unique potential, develop and promote the products of Da river fish of the province. The Department is completing the necessary procedures so that the Department of Intellectual Property - Ministry of Science and Technology will offer collective marks for Products of Da River fish of Hoa Binh.
