(HBO) – Linh Dung Organic Farm, a member of Muong Dong Agricultural and Trade Cooperative located in Dong Ngoai village, Vinh Dong vommune, Kim Boi district, signed a contract with O-City JSC to supply organic products for the Hanoi-based company.
Under the agreement, O-City JSC will buy nine organic products
from Linh Dung Farm, including lime, honeyed lime, tangerine, orange and
pomelo. The total purchase for 2018 is expected to be about 14 tonnes.
The company is now the farm’s only distributor who will be
responsible for processing, packaging, distribution and marketing of the
products at home and overseas.
From cooperation with Linh Dung Farm, O-City JSC hopes to further
advance cooperation with other members of the Muong Dong Cooperative in organic
farming.
Linh Dung was the country’s first organic farm engaging in citrus
fruit farming. It was verified by NHO-QSCert to meet Vietnam’s organic
standards TCVN 11041-2015 (now TCVN 11041-2007). It specialises in producing
organic citrus fruits like orange, lime, tangerine and pomelo and making
processed products, including honeyed lime, canned pomelo juice, lime powder
and more.
Due to organic production, its products have been well-received
and have competitive edges over other peers in the market.
This year, its organic citrus plants were honoured with the title
of "Vietnam Gold Farming Brand"./.
