The 200 best businesses in the country were presented with the Vietnam Gold Star Award 2018 at a ceremony held in Hanoi on December 23 in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue.

The 200 firms generated more than VND912 trillion (US$39
billion) in revenue and contributed over VND72 trillion (US$3 billion) to the
state budget this year. They posted an after-tax profit of about VND72 trillion
and created jobs for 417,000 people.

Investment JSC, Hoa Binh Construction Group JSC, FPT JSC, Hoa Phat Group JSC,
Thien Long Group JSC, Century Land JSC, Traphaco JSC, Minh Phu Seafood JSC, and
An Cuong Wood Working JSC.
The Award honours the enterprises that have achieved good
business performance and sustainable development and undertaken good social
responsibility.
The Vietnam Gold Star Award marked its 15th anniversary
this year. It has honoured 2,127 brands and products so far, helping to promote
the stature of Vietnamese brands and businesses in the international economic
integration period.
It is organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist
Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee
and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
