(HBO)- Since the implementation of the new rural construction program, Lac Thuy district has set a target to increase the income of the people through the economic development in agricultural production.


The model of planting melons in a net house of GAP Hoa Binh Company in the chain of links in Phu Thanh commune (Lac Thuy) brings the high economic efficiency.

Thanks to the focus on agricultural development, Lac Thuy district has built a lot of specialized production areas with the high economic value. Up to now, the concentrated citrus fruit production areas with an area of ​​1,208.8 ha have been basically formed. The district has 4 production value chains associated with the consumption of products that bring the high economic efficiency. They include 2 chains of planting chilli for export and growing safe vegetables on a scale of over 20 hectare. Another one chain is a high quality rice cultivation of 130 hectare and one chain is for Lac Thuy chicken breeding with the scale of 10,000 chicken.

Besides, the district has actively attracted the investment of enterprises into the area, especially the investment in agriculture and rural areas. Now there are 4 businesses investing in livestock and 7 businesses operating in the field of wood processing. At the same time, the whole district has 84 farms meeting the criteria for the average income of over 528 million VND a year. The promotion of links in the production value chain associated with product consumption, attracting enterprises to invest in rural areas is paid attraction to. In 2018, the businesses continue to invest in the production of safe vegetables and medicinal plants according to a link model of value chains such as Lac Thuy Clean Agricultural Company, Vietnam Pepper Ltd. Company, Northern Green joint Stock Company, Sinh Loc Vocational Training Company and so on.

 

After 8 years of implementing the program of building new rural areas, the traffic ensures the smooth travel and the communal hardened roads have reached 94.5%. The irrigation works have been renovated and upgraded, ensuring irrigation and water for production and daily-life needs of the people. 100% of the households have used the national net electricity. There are 24 out of 35 schools in the district meeting the national standards. The cultural facilities are invested and built each year to upgrade the criteria of building new rural areas. The rate of regular employed workers has reached 95.5%. In 2018, the average income in rural areas is 36.33 million VND a person.
