(HBO) – Kim Boi district People's Committee has recently held a ceremony to announce that Ha Bi commune has met the new-style rural standards in 2018. Attending the event was Bui Van Cuu, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

In the past eight years, the commune mobilised nearly 100 billion VND (4.31 million USD) to implement the local new-style rural building programme. Up to now, its rural transport system has basically met the standards. All six villages in the commune have cultural houses and public sport grounds, 84 percent of local households have won the title of Cultural Family, and all local households have access to clean water. More than 97 percent of the local workforce have regular jobs, while more than 97 percent of residents have joined health insurance.

Acknowledging efforts by the commune’s Party organisation, authorities and people in the work, the provincial People's Committee presented to the commune a certificate accrediting its fulfillment of new-style rural standards in 2018 and awarded Ha Bi a 400-million VND social welfare project.


At the ceremony, on behalf of the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Bui Van Cuu, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee presents  the commune with  the new-style rural area certificate.

On the occasion, the People's Committees of Kim Boi district and Ha Bi commune handed over certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 30 individuals, who have made significant contributions to the commune’s process to earn the status of a new style rural area./.
