HBO - As many as 100 businesses were established in the northern province of Hoa Binh in the first three months of this year with a total registered capital of 3 trillion VND (129.5 million USD). The figures represented year-on-year rises of 11.2 percent and 20 percent, respectively.

Statistics showed that 10 businesses registered
to open branches and representative offices. The province granted business
registration certificates for 264 enterprises. Forty firms registered to halt
operation while eight others voluntarily dissolved.
The province continued stepping up the
arrangement and reform of businesses in addition to completing procedures to
equitise road sections and public non-business units as regulated.
In January-March, the province had five new
cooperatives and three cooperative groups.
So far, it is home to one cooperative union, 315
cooperatives (including 281 active ones), and 262 cooperative groups
(encompassing 257 active ones)./.
