(HBO) - Head of the Sub-Department of Agro-Forestry-Fishery Products’ Quality Management under the Hoa Binh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has allowed three facilities to use the trademark of "Da River-Hoa Binh Fish” and issued food safety certificates to eight others as well as the recognition of food safety knowledge to 39 individuals.

Over the years, the province has paid great attention to quality supervision and food safety observation.

Under a project to develop major agricultural products in value chain to ensure food safety in 2019, the province has 35 businesses, co-operatives, cooperation groups and household farms investing in fish farming in a large scale, owning 55 percent of fish cages and supplying 67 percent of aquatic products that the province provides to the market.

A number of enterprises have signed consumption contracts with fish farming households meeting the VietGAP and food safety requirements.
