(HBO) – Up to 29.8km of medium-voltage lines, 17 power stations with a total capacity of 1,049VA, 55.19 low-voltage lines and 1,350 electric meters worth 70.5 billion VND were built in ten communes in Lac Son, Tan Lac and Da Bac district, the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh during the 2016-2018 period in the first phase of a project that lasts from 2016 to 2020.

As of August 2019, the rate of households in these localities accessing the national power grid was 99.72 percent. 

Thanks to the stable and safe electricity supply, rural residents have applied new technologies to promote production and expand business, towards sustainable poverty reduction.
