(HBO) – Thanks to the efforts of the authorities from the provincial to communal level, as well as endeavours of officials and locals in Cao Phong district, the switch of crop structure and application of science and technology in farming in the locality has been sped up, improving the productivity and quality of farm produce and increase the living conditions of local residents. So far, citrus tree development has been at the centre of attention.

The fifth Cao Phong orange festival and the Cao Phong trade fair 2019 are expected to create a good chance for local farmers to promote the trademark of the fruit to customers.

In the 2019-2020 crop, the district has over 3,000 hectares of orange farms, with over 1,544 hectares of trees yielding fruit with estimate output of over 40,000 tonnes.

The event will have 200 booths, about 130 of which will showcase Cao Phong orange, mandarin and pomelo, along with those introducing plant varieties and agricultural equipment as well as farm produce, craft products and specialties of 12 communes.
