Some key projects are being implemented in the district, such as Huong Binh cable work; Lac Thuy district cultural, tourism and resort site of Pacific - Hoa Binh One Member Co. Ltd; sport-culture, entertainment, high-class resort, ecotourism complex in combination with aquaculture, Dong Tam golf course, and the project on Xuan Thien lime and light powder production and Xuan Thien port.

In implementing the public investment plan for 2020, there are some projects to be carried out, including those on planting, protecting and restoring protective forests in upper Boi river area, upgrading Boi river dyke and a road section from Chi Ne bridge in Khoan Du, Lac Thuy district, to Xinh Tho commune, Nho Quan district of Ninh Binh province, Thanh Nong-Thanh Ha-Ho Chi Minh highway bypass, and upgrading a dyke system and building road in Phu Lao commune.

Besides, the district has sped up he works such as national highway 21 to Luon cave; construction of technical infrastructure for aquaculture areas; and a road section from Phu Lao commune to Lien Hoa commue./.
