(HBO) – Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh province Bui Van Khanh on July 10 had a working session with his counterpart from its neighbouring province of Son La to discuss investment in building Hoa Binh – Moc Chau expressway.

The Hoa Binh-Moc Chau expressway is designed to start from Highway 6 – section in Trung Minh commune (Hoa Binh city), go through Da Bac and Mai Chau districts (Hoa Binh), Van Ho and Moc Chau districts (Son La), and emds at Highway 43 - section in Phieng Luong commune (Moc Chau).

During the function, delegates were informed about adjustments of the project to ensure its progress, economic and technical feasibility, as well as financial efficiency.

The 84km expressway will have a total estimated investment of over 22 trillion VND (950 million USD), including more than 12 trillion VND from investors and the remainder sourced from the State budget to support land clearance and residential resettlement.

The project will be carried out from 2021 to 2024.

The two provinces’ authorities agreed on investment adjustments of the project and affirmed their determination to put the expressway into operation as soon as possible./.
