(HBO) – According to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, close to 24,000 customers in the northern province of Hoa Binh accessed policy loans worth over 52.7 billion VND (2.27 million USD) in July.
The
figure in the first seven months of this year was estimated at 774.6 billion
VND (33.4 million USD), including 10.4 billion VND for poor households, 12.5
billion VND for near-poor families, 10.3 billion VND for clean water and environmental
hygiene, 8 billion VND for needy household businesses, and 6.7 billion VND for
households freshly escaping from poverty.
As of July, the total policy credit balance in
the locality exceeded 3.3 trillion VND, with over 132,000 customers. The bank
said during the month it basically met the needs of poor households, policy
beneficiary families and others./.
The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
