(HBO) – Hoa Binh city reported that retail sales totalled more than 1.39 trillion VND (over 60 million USD) in July, an increase of 20.9 percent from a year earlier, according to the city’s People’s Committee.
The figure
includes 690.5 billion VND in retail sales from household businesses and over
700.8 billion VND from enterprises, up 21 percent and 20 percent, respectively,
year-on-year.

Last month, local
industrial and handicraft establishments ramped up production to fulfill orders. Production
of running water reached
nearly 12,400 cu.m, up 6.5 percent year-on-year, while close to 4,680 brooms
were made during the month, up 4.2 percent.
The city also
produced nearly 8.4 million bricks and tiles of all types and over 2.13 million
clothing items, up 8.9 percent and 6.9 percent, respectively, year on year./.
The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
