(HBO) - The Party Committee and People’s Committee of the northwestern province of Hoa Binh have over the years strived to improve investment and business climate in a clear and transparent manner, and revised administrative procedures in investment, construction, land use and business registration for investment attraction.

The Vietnam Fragrances Company based at the Luong Son Industrial Park (IP) in Hoa Binh specialises in toothpick exports to India, which raises the province’s export values.

The province has drawn 211 investment projects since 2017, including 17 foreign-invested ones. At present, there are 580 projects in Hoa Binh, of which 540 are domestic with registered capital totaling over 84.74 trillion VND (3.67 billion USD) and 40 FDI projects worth 575.4 million USD.

The province’s IPs currently house 95 licensed projects, comprising of 24 foreign-invested of 499.85 million USD and 71 domestic worth nearly 7.27 trillion VND.

As many as 55 projects have come on stream, creating stable jobs for approximately 20,000 workers./.
