Trademark of “Yen Thuy Ca gai leo” announced

(HBO) - The People’s Committee of Yen Thuy district on December 15 held an event to announce the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (IP Vietnam)’s recognition of the trademark of "Yen Thuy Ca gai leo (solanum procumbens).”

In June last year, the International Intellectual Property Agency (Investip) cooperated with the People’s Committee of Yen Thuy district to organize a conference to verify the owner of the trademark of "Yen Thuy Ca gai leo.” The IP Vietnam issued a certificate for the trademark on July 29 this year.

At the ceremony on December 15, a senior official of the Hoa Binh provincial Department of Science and Technology presenting the certificate recognizing the trademark of "Yen Thuy Ca gai leo” to the People’s Committee of Yen Thuy district.

Two local pharmaceutical companies – Binh An JSC and Bao Hieu agricultural and forestry cooperative – were also granted with the right to use the collective trademark of "Yen Thuy Ca gai leo.”/.
