(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Business Association partnered with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and FAC Financial & Accounting Consultant Co., Ltd. to organize a training course on April 22 – 23 to update local enterprises on the Law on Support for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

Local enterprises are provided with legal knowledge on taxation and updates on the Law on Support for SMEs.

During the two-day course, enterprises were provided with information on new taxation policies and instructed in how to access the innovative startup fund. They were also guided in how to fix errors in calculating value added, corporate income, personal income and business licence taxes before preparing financial statements; and issues that need attention during the settlement of taxes.

The second congress of the provincial Business Association for the 2020 – 2025 term is set to promote its role in supporting local firms in management personnel training, provision of legal information; and increasing benefits for its members.

Last year, Hoa Binh climbed four places to rank 44th out of 63 cities and provinces nationwide in Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI). The province has been applying the set of competitiveness indexes and surveying local firms’ opinions about the local business climate as part of the District and Department Competitiveness Index (DDCI). The move is expected to create big breakthroughs in improving the province’s business environment./.
