(HBO) – An inter-sectoral delegation arrived at the Hoa Binh Koyuseni Knitting Company to inspect the fight against COVID-19 pandemic on June 10. joining the delegation were leaders of the management board of provincial industrial parks, the provincial Health Department and the provincial Centre for Disease Control.

The company reported that it now has 388 Korean workers and business owners, together with Chinese experts who have yet arrived in Vietnam. It specialises in producing socks for export.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the company has taken several measures to enhance prevention and control. It popularised the effort to workers, regularly monitored the situation, asked workers to wear masks, use sanitisers, have their temperature checked and fill out health declarations, as well as seriously follow the ministry’s 5K message.

After inspecting the situation, the delegation pointed out existing problems in the work. They asked the company leaders to closely follow the province’s guidelines in the work in each process, seriously follow the Health Ministry’s "5K” requirements, make weekly self-assessment in accordance with safety criteria, review the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control among businesses. In particular, the company must ensure pandemic prevention and control at kitchens in the near future.

The company was asked to check input materials and workers coming to and from areas under quarantine as directed by the Health Ministry, actively review the risk of transmission at workplaces, make commitments in paper about the serious implementation of prevention and control regulations, and urge workers to install Bluezone app. It must also report the work to the municipal Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control and the management board of the provincial IPs before June 15./.
