Among sub-sectors, production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water and steam spurred 65 percent and mining was up 5.6 percent. Meanwhile, processing and manufacturing, and water supply and wastewater treatment were down 2.5 percent and 2 percent, respectively.

The complex development of the COVID-19 has been taking toll on industrial production. Despite many challenges posed by the pandemic, local manufacturers have flexibly undertaken measures to adapt to the "new normal” and keep the production going.

The provincial People’s Committee has directed local departments, sectors and districts to actively support investors in completing infrastructure at industrial parks and clusters and help them tackle difficulties in land clearance to boost investment./.
