In August, the index of industrial production in Hoa Binh province grew by some 6.22 percent month on month but declined 10.56 percent year on year. In particular, the mining industry contracted by about 1.51 percent while the processing - manufacturing industry rose 13.82 percent; the production and distribution of electricity, fuel gas, hot water, steam, and air conditioners up 1.67 percent; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment up 16.32 percent.

To boost industrial development, the provincial People’s Committee has ordered district-level administrations to thoroughly grasp the content about industrial and trade development in the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th provincial Party Congress.
