(HBO) – According to Hoa Binh province’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, over 2,220 tonnes of vegetables and fruits were sold in October. Of the total, 886 tonnes were consumed in the locality, and over 1,330 tonnes were sold in other localities. The department has continued to update and make statistics on production, consumption of farm products in the locality, and actively coordinated with localities and businesses to quickly sell agricultural products as soon as possible.

In addition, relevant sectors have worked
together to introduce farm products on e-commerce platforms Postmart.vn and
Voso.vn, contributing to selling 2.6 tonnes of Son Thuy longan, 3.7 tonnes of
Dong Bong custard apple, 6 tonnes of red-flesh dragon fruits of Lac Thuy
district, 4.7 tonnes of green-skin pomelo in Tan Lac district, 66,500 eggs of
cooperatives in Lac Thuy and Lac Son districts, 5 tonnes of chayote, 6.2 tonnes
of oranges, 1.3 tonnes of zucchini, 20 tonnes of scallion, and processed products
chili, and shachi omega tea.
The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 20 coordinated with Hai Dang Group Hoa Binh Seafood Company Limited to release 1.5 tonnes of fries into Hoa Binh Lake to regenerate aquatic resources, with a total value of 266 million VND (10,460 USD).
On the afternoon of November 16, Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, held a reception for a delegation from the Indian Embassy led by Ambassador Sandeep Arya. From a type of bulb used as a seasoning for daily meals, thanks to the efforts of local authorities and farmers, shallots have become a commercial crop in Yen Thuy district, contributing to promoting the transformation of crop structure in agricultural production, bringing higher incomes to locals.
