(HBO) - Lac Thuy district showed good performance in the implementation of three strategic breakthroughs on synchronous infrastructure development, human resources development and administrative reform.

Officials, Party members and people of Lac Thuy district have made great efforts to fulfil tasks, projects and plans, contributing to creating a solid foundation for realising goals set for 2022.

At present, the district's urban technical infrastructure system has been expanded and improved in the direction of modernisation and synchronisation.

Over 200 billion VND was spent on upgrading and building 9.2 km of asphalted and concreted roads, while nearly 134 billion VND was poured into 22 technical infrastructure works.

Many power line and transformer station works in the communes of Phu Nghia, Dong Tam, An Binh, Phu Thanh, and Thong Nhat, and Chi Ne and Ba Hang Doi towns have been also built and upgraded.

The quality of the urban technical infrastructure system has been significantly improved, contributing to promoting urbanisation in the locality.

 

 

According to Bui Van Hao, permanent Vice Secretary of Khoan Du commune’s Party Committee, 100 percent of the commune's roads are now solidified, facilitating travel and business activities of local people.

Other infrastructure facilities have been also invested, including six reservoirs and dams providing water for production and daily life, and a sports area covering 0,000 sq.m.

Regarding human resources development, many officials, civil servants and public employees of the district participated in post-graduate training programmes, as well as attended refresher training courses.

Attention has been paid to strengthening vocational education in association with improving the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources, to meet the needs of the labour market.

Policies, programmes and projects to support vocational training, especially for rural workers and policy beneficiaries, have been effectively performed.

The total number of trained workers in the district has so far reached 56.15 percent.

Regarding administrative reform, the district continues to implement e-government and apply digital signatures in management and administration; and accelerate the settlement of administrative procedures at levels 3 and 4.

Bui Trung Kien, Secretary of the district’s Party Committee said in the coming time, the locality will continue to perform the "dual goal" of COVID-19 prevention and control, and socio-economic development, aiming to realising 20 goals set in the Party Committee’s resolution in 2022. /.
